Terms ofservice

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Golazo.
• One account per person, in your own name, with accurate details.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.

Golazo helps people find and organise pick-up football games. Games are organised by independent hosts, not by Golazo. We don't own or run any pitch, we don't book pitches, and we can't guarantee that a game will go ahead, what it will be like, or how other people will behave.

Only approved hosts can create games. We review every application, and we may suspend or remove hosting at any time. As a host you agree to:

• Describe each game accurately: pitch, time, format, level and price.
• Book the pitch yourself and turn up to run the game.
• Mark attendance honestly and record results as they happened.
• Treat every player fairly, and follow the venue's rules.
• Take care of any licence, permit or tax that applies when you charge for your games.

Hosts set the price per player, and every game shows its price before you join.

When you join a game, other people count on you. If you can't make it, leave the game in the app as early as possible so your spot goes to the waiting list. Late drop-outs are recorded on the game. A host can mark you as a no-show, which frees your spot; three no-shows in 30 days pauses joining games for 14 days. If you think a no-show is wrong, dispute it from the game in the app.

Ratings and MVPs are calculated from the match events a game's host records, plus the host's bonus, and count once the result is published. They're a bit of fun, not a professional assessment, and they can contain mistakes. We may correct or remove results that are inaccurate or abused.

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you add. You give us permission to store and show it to other users as needed to run Golazo. Only upload content you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful or offensive.

A match video a host adds to a game is public, like the game's result: anyone who can open the game can watch it. Hosts may only add videos they have the right to share, and should let the players know the game is being filmed. Videos stay with the game's record after it's played; we'll take one down if it breaks these terms or the law, or if someone in it asks us to for a good reason.

Football is a physical, contact sport, and injuries happen. You take part in games at your own risk and are responsible for your own fitness, health, kit and hydration, especially in the UAE heat. Golazo doesn't supervise games and doesn't provide medical cover or insurance. If you have a medical condition, check with a doctor before you play.

• Harassment, abuse, threats or discrimination of any kind.
• Dangerous or violent play.
• Fake accounts, fake games, spam, scams or impersonation.
• Collecting other users' data, or interfering with how Golazo works.

We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or our community guidelines. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Golazo is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for games organised by hosts, for the conduct of other users, for venues, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app about significant changes, and continuing to use Golazo means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Questions? Email support@golazo.ae.
